What is a food allergy?
Food allergy occurs when a person’s immune system becomes hypersensitive to certain food substances. Immunoglobulin E (IgE) are then produced in the body and react with the allergenic substance, which stimulates the body to release chemicals that cause various symptoms.
Symptoms associated with food allergies
Skin: Skin rash, eczema, acne
Breathe: Asthma, nasal allergy
Digestive system: Frequent diarrhea, vomiting, gastrointestinal sensitivity, constipation, gas, bloating
Head and Neck: Otitis, recurrent sinusitis, migraine, sore throat, mouth sores
Psychology: Chronic fatigue, autism, hyperactivity, anxiety, depression, inattentive

Diagnosis and treatment of food allergies
IgE and IgG antibodies are usually not presented in large amounts in the blood of a person without food allergies, and even if a small number of antibodies are detected, the levels are low and do not pose a health problem. On the contrary, most sub-healthy people can find one or more kinds of antibodies in their bodies. After they abstain from allergenic foods, the chronic illnesses will be usually improved or relieved.
Only foods that stimulate IgE antibodies shall be permanently avoided, and foods that produce IgG and IgA antibodies can be suspended for three to nine months concerning the level of allergic reaction. In most cases, you can resume these foods into the diet without causing any adverse effects afterward.
