Meningococcal Vaccine (Nimenrix)
Nimenrix™ is a quadrivalent meningococcal conjugate vaccine against serogroup A, C, W135 & Y, provides persistent protection to individuals aged from 6 weeks without an upper age limit. Nimenrix™ has been registered in over 60 countries and areas worldwide.
Individuals aged 1 or above only need one convenient dose 1. Nimenrix™ can be injected into the thigh or arm muscle in children from 12 months of age and adults.
Who should consider vaccination
- All children beyond 2 months
- Adolescent (16-21 years old) living in hostels
- Elderly (above 50 years old)
- Patient with immunodeficiency or chronic illness
- Anyone traveling to, or living in, a part of the world where meningococcal disease is common, such as Africa, Saudi Arabia, North America or Europe.
