Infection
Infection can be acute or chronic. Infection occurs when viruses, bacteria, or other microbes enter an organism’s body and begin to multiply.
The common symptoms of infection in the body are as follows:
- Chills and fever
- The low temperature of the body
- Urinating less
- Rapid Breathing
- Vomiting and nausea
- Diarrhea
Family doctors provide treatment based on the nature of the infectious agents. They would use antibiotics for treating bacterial infections such as pneumonia; antivirals for treating viral infections like influenza, hepatitis etc.; antifungals for treating fungal infections such as athlete’s foot.
